FULLERTON, CA: A finalist in the Rolling Stone, Street to Stage contest Charles Rangel takes the stage at Ziing’s Bistro and Bar to perform his unique “Tapping” skills using a guitar on his lap like a piano.
Charles Rangel has been playing guitar professionally for more than ten years in Los Angeles and Las Vegas area. The style that he plays is referred as “Tapping” which he lays the guitar on his lap and with his fingers he oddly plays the strings to a rhythmic sound. With over 200k views on his Facebook videos, Charles has an incredible technique that is undeniable.
Charles composes most of his music, and after binge-watching, “Breaking Bad” a television show, he wrote an incredible song called "Wicked Ways.” Working with different artist, Charles style of music keeps evolving and has been featured on many tv shows, including CBS “Lucky Dog” ESPN Sports, and House of Foods. Rolling Stone Magazine has also featured articles on his guitar playing skills. Get ready for a spectacular performance on April 20 as you dine. Reservations are highly recommended.
